Tidy Desk – Tidy Mind?

This month’s Darners meeting (my mastermind group) focused on improving productivity and efficiencies.

I shared loads of ideas on how to handle emails, unexpected meetings and procrastination, amongst other things.

Julie's desk before and afterOne of the things that struck a note with Julie Angell was that you are more productive if you have a clear desk.

Makes sense, if you think about it!

No distractions.

Room to work.

Less stress.

And, as you will see from the pictures, she went straight back to the office and did something about it! I love it when that happens!

Simon Says

So, as you sit there reading this blog, have a look around you.

Is your workspace as tidy as it could be?

If not, spend just ten minutes putting things away and make yourself a bit more space.

You will be amazed how much better you’ll feel afterwards.

And how much more productive you’ll be!

I am delighted to announce my first Darner group (the mastermind groups I run) now has its full complement of members and might even have a waiting list! Don’t worry if you have missed out – there will be a second group launching in September.

In the meantime, tickets for my next Odd Sock Session MAX (almost certainly the last one in this format), which has received rave reviews, are available at www.socksupsimon.com/theoddsocksession.   It all takes place at the GreenStones office on the 20 July. I can’t wait to see you there.

Let’s Get Started…

Simon has been inspiring, challenging and supporting business owners and their teams to be the best they can be since 1997. In the first three years he owned GreenStones, he quadrupled its profits, tripled its turnover and doubled the number of team members. And if that is not enough he has also ran the London Marathon, cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats (raising over £20K for Arthritis Research) and qualified as a hypnotherapist. Simon now spends his time helping business owners use the Bravest Business Model to help them focus on the most important functions of their business. After they have been working with him for a while they start to earn the money they deserve, they get more time with their family doing the things they want to do and they make their mum proud!
