You’ll arrive for 9.30 a.m. (coffee will be served from 9.15 a.m.) and the first thing I’ll share is the GreenStones customer greeting system. You’ll see how we take this opportunity to start asking for referrals right from the moment customers walk through the door!

Then you’ll get set loose in the office!

Under your own steam you’ll get to see the mood board, the job planning board, the team progress charts, the pool table, the cardboard cut-out in reception and the cardiac desk – if you are lucky there might even be some cake on it!

You’ll get to speak to the team without me. During the old Odd Socks Sessions I showed people round at my pace (which some found pretty quick!). This way you get to wander round (I’ll still guide you) and actually speak to the team. You’ll get to hear their thoughts as well as mine and gain an understanding as to how you can get your team on board when you return to your practice.

And that’s not all; make sure you bring lots of batteries for your cameras as you can take as many pictures and videos as you want. You can use them to remind you of what you saw and to share with your team as often as you want.

62 pictures is the most anyone has taken at the moment! Can you beat that?

And still there is more; after your tour, I’ll share with you why and how each and every system works.

Once you have grabbed all the insights you can , you’ll get to hear my latest thinking on lead generation and the systems we have introduced. Our main focus is word of mouth marketing, so the emphasis will be on that, and how you can work sincerely and be dependable with your current and potential customers.

After a quick break the action turns to motivating your team. I’ll share how we use ROWE (Results Only Work Environment) and what the first steps should be for you if you want to introduce it in your business. I’ll also share the software I use in order to make ROWE possible, and which also allows me to be able to work from anywhere and still maintain work relationships.

Then we’ll stop and take a break for a hot 2 course lunch.

After a hot lunch (included in your investment) we’ll start a high level conversation about your accountancy practice. On your tables you’ll share what you have learned from GreenStones, plus any brilliant systems you can add to the mix. If you are facing any particular challenges you can share those with the people round the table as well and they’ll help you solve them.

You’ll then get to hear from at least one other accountant who has worked with me about how they implemented what they learned.

And the effect it has had on their practice.

You’ll also get to hear from a customer of GreenStones and learn what they think of the practice!

Finally, we’ll round off the day with some action planning. Together we’ll work out what the quick implementation wins are for you and what projects might be a little longer term. You’ll leave knowing exactly what to do next and with the support in place to help you achieve success.

There is no catch. As I said before, the GreenStones team and I love sharing the ideas and concepts we have introduced in the business to make it the success that it is.

I’m sure you understand that I have to draw the line somewhere.

Yes, yes, yes. If there are two of you in the room you are much more likely to take action and that’s what I want you to do.
